It was one of those peaceful mornings when the air feels lighter, the sky clearer, and your heart just knows, it’s a great day to slow down. That day, I had breakfast with a friend at a quiet spot in Mountain View. And let me just say, it was the kind of morning my soul needed. ☺️❤️
We chose a table with the best view, facing the vast green mountains, under a wide open sky. The scenery stretched far and wide, with layers of hills and a soft cityscape far in the distance. The sunlight danced with the clouds, and a gentle breeze greeted us as we settled in. Looking out into that sea of green reminded me how small we are, yet how blessed. ❤️🙏
We ordered a classic Filipino breakfast, fried bangus (milkfish), sunny side up eggs, freshly cooked steamed rice, and a simple side of cucumber and tomato slices. It may be simple, but it felt perfect. There's something about local food eaten in a peaceful place that just makes it taste better. And of course, there was hot coffee, steaming, aromatic, and comforting, like a warm hug in a cup.☺️❤️
Sipping coffee with that kind of view is refreshing beyond words. It’s like inhaling peace and exhaling all the rush and noise from the city. That morning reminded me that sometimes, happiness comes in slow sips and quiet bites. We didn’t talk much, just the right kind of silence, the kind that feels safe and calm.❤️
We watched the clouds float by. The trees swayed gently below. And I found myself smiling for no reason. Maybe because it felt good to just be. No deadlines, no worries, just a moment of stillness with a good friend, good food, and a view that heals.
Moments like that are rare. And that’s why they’re worth remembering.

We don’t always need big travels to feel alive. Sometimes, all we need is a good view, a hearty breakfast, and someone to share it with. ☺️❤️
