Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏
The day I was set to travel to Manila was supposed to be just another solo trip for me. I was all set to leave Tacloban via a land trip. As usual, I was mentally preparing myself for the long ride ahead. Traveling alone has become a familiar routine, but I can’t deny that there are moments when I wish I had company especially during those long waiting hours at the terminal.
I arrived early and found a spot in the waiting area, right in front of a small store. I was quietly scrolling through my phone, watching people come and go. Then out of nowhere, I noticed familiar faces walking toward me. I looked closely and to my surprise, it was my cousin and his family! I didn’t even know they were leaving Tacloban that day. It turned out they were heading back to Manila after spending some time in Leyte for vacation. ☺️
We didn’t plan to meet. We had no idea we’d see each other that day. But somehow, life brought us to the same place at the same time. We were all waiting for our respective buses to arrive. I was heading to Manila for something personal, and they were on their way back home.
It felt so heartwarming to suddenly be surrounded by family when I thought I’d be spending that time alone. We took a few pictures, shared quick stories, laughed a bit, and enjoyed each other’s company even just for a while. That simple moment was enough to brighten my day. ☺️❤️
Eventually, our buses arrived, mine first. We said our goodbyes, wished each other safe travels, and went on our separate journeys.
It was a short encounter, but it reminded me that life always has its sweet surprises even in the most unexpected places, like a bus terminal.
Have a Blessed Friday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖
