This morning felt a little different, in a good way. A friend and I planned to go for an early morning jog and walk. We agreed to meet at 5:30 AM, but as expected, we started a little late, around 6 AM. Still, it was a good start. ☺️
The weather was perfect. It wasn't hot at all, thanks to the humid, cloudy skies. The air felt cool and fresh, and the road we were walking and jogging on wasn’t busy, just a few vehicles here and there. That’s one of the things I liked most. It felt safe, calm, and peaceful. ❤️💚
As we jogged, we passed by a wide, open rice field that had just been harvested. The golden stalks were gone, but the scene still looked beautiful. From a distance, a row of coconut trees stood tall and steady, and behind them, a mountain view slowly peeked through the mist and clouds. It was like a painting in real life. The combination of the cloudy sky, open fields, and quiet morning was refreshing for the soul. ❤️
Of course, we didn’t miss the chance to take a photo together. That moment, standing in front of that beautiful view with a good friend, made me feel grateful. It’s always nicer to experience simple joys with someone beside you. Our smiles in that picture say it all. ☺️❤️
Along the way, we passed by a group of cattle grazing in a wide open field. They looked so relaxed, just enjoying the space. With all the green grass and plants around them, I thought to myself, They’ll never go hungry here! ☺️❤️
We also passed by Loira Homes, a quiet and private residential area. It looked peaceful too, with its gated properties and neat surroundings. ❤️
One of my favorite parts of the walk was when we saw a local selling fresh vegetables right outside their home. My friend stopped and bought a few items. They had sponge gourd, bottle gourd, string beans, cucumber, lady’s finger, and even fresh chilies. I always admire how fresh and affordable these local harvests are. ☺️❤️
Before we ended our walk, something bright caught my eye, a flame tree in full bloom! Its fiery red-orange flowers stood out beautifully against the grayish sky. It was impossible to ignore! I had to stop and take a moment to appreciate it. That’s the thing about me, even while jogging, I can’t help but pause when something beautiful grabs my attention. ❤️☺️
All in all, it was a refreshing and meaningful start to the day. It wasn’t just about exercise, it was about connecting with nature, sharing laughter with a friend, and noticing the little things around me that made this morning feel special. ☺️❤️
