Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well!
Magic Shikika will be showcasing her hidden cooking talent. 😁 This post will be the entry for ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #46 🍜 The Great Noodle Cook-Off 👨🍳.
Before I will proceed to the challenge, I feel sad that there's no entry for the Village Tours. Actually, I read the challenge at night 2 days before it ends. I said to myself that I gonna make an entry about it. But, the following day, I forgot to take some pictures at the village. I feel sorry about it.
Anyways, I won't allow this challenge to end without submitting my entry. 😀 Upon reading the challenge yesterday, I go out in the afternoon at my brother's place. I told them that I gonna cook stir-fry noodles for the dinner.
When my nephew heard that I will be going out, he wanted to go with me to buy some ingredients at the market. So, I let him go with me together with her mother. I have here pictures when we are about to go out. My sister-in-law don't like to be included in the picture. 😁😀
We only walk to the market because it is just a walking distance from our place. There are times that we ride a motorcycle or tricycle going to the market. But, that time we choose to walk only. 😁
While we are walking, I asked my nephew of what he is going to buy. He said, he gonna buy chayote and cucumber. 😁 He is always excited of going out. Look how happy he is when we are at the market. 🤗
My nephew is just looking at me while I am the one picking some ingredients. 😀
I get garlic.
I get onions. It is still pricey. This small piece is 10 pesos.
I get green chili finger.
I get ginger. It is not an ingredient in cooking noodles.
I get tomatoes. It is not an ingredient in cooking noodles.
I get two packs of Pancit Mixed Vegetables.
I get one pack of Fresh Japanese Ramen Noodles.
I get Spring Onions.
I get Chayote. It is not an ingredient in cooking noodles.
I wasn't able to buy cucumber as what my nephew said. Because, there's no available cucumber.
Here's all that I bought. It costs a total of ₱124.00 or $2.26 as of current exchange rate.
After paying the goods, I checked the next stall selling some pork meat. I bought small amount of lean pork meat. I paid ₱66.00 or $1.20 for the meat. Some ingredients that I bought will be use on the next day cooking. 😀
When we are done buying goods at the market, we walk back to my brother's place. While we are at the highway, we pass by the vendors selling fruits.
I bought some apples and oranges. It cost me ₱100.00 or $1.82 for buying 5 pieces of apples and 6 pieces oranges.
I also buy bananas from the banana vendor. It cost me $35.00 or $0.64 for buying 1/2 kg of banana.
The total amount I spent yesterday was ₱325.00 or $5.92 for all the goods I purchased.
When we got back at my brother's place, I immediately prepared cooking the noodles for dinner meal.
From the market, let's now proceed to kitchen. 😀 Your chef Magic Shikika will be in the kitchen again to showcase her cooking expertise. 😁😁
