Early morning today, I went to the Cebu Port Authority (CPA) office as a representative of the company I am working with to attend the CPA Orientation for Permit Holders.
Our company, applied for the permit to operate at the CPA. We complied all the requirements and today was our orientation schedule. The schedule of the orientation I attended was 8:30 am. I arrived at CPA before 8am. There are already other attendees of the orientation that arrived earlier than me. At exactly 8am, the registration started.
The attendees who are done registering, forwarded to the hall venue and take the seats.

When all are done registering and the presentation are all set, the orientation started.
The main objectives of the CPA Orientation is to educate the importance and the purpose of the permits, to educate and bring awareness on safety, health and environment in port, to safeguard, promote well-being and instill environmental stewardship to Port users, and to prevent any untoward incident, near miss or accident that may cause damage to property, illness, physical injury, loss of time, revenue, life and pollution.
It was discussed at the orientation the rules and regulations of the CPA while inside the port. The requirements, fees, penalties, and a lot were discussed.
The orientation ended around 10:30 am. After the orientation, I paid the permit to operate fee and claim the PTO. It's almost 12 noon when I finished my transaction. I go back to the office around 1pm and handed the PTO.
The next thing to do after claiming the PTO is to process the vehicle stickers and IDs of the drivers and truck man.
