Hello my dear friend @sanjeevm and Also My HIVERS friends and also @asean.hive community friends.
I hope you are all is very happy and enjoy your life with your family and also your health are very amazing.
There are moments in life when we need to disconnect from the chaos of the modern world and reconnect with nature and family. That’s exactly what I, Sujit, along with my wonderful wife Karishma and our sweet daughter Sanvi, experienced during our unforgettable trip to a farmhouse in Raudi village.
The Journey Begins
Early in the morning, with packed bags and a lot of excitement, we began our journey. As we moved away from the city, the landscape changed — tall buildings gave way to open fields, and traffic sounds faded into birdsongs. Sanvi was glued to the window, joyfully shouting out whenever she spotted cows, goats, or butterflies.
The road leading to Raudi was scenic — filled with winding paths, lush trees on both sides, and the smell of moist soil after a recent drizzle. It already felt like we were entering a different world — one where time moved slowly and life was simple.
Warm Welcome in the Village
As we entered Raudi village, we were greeted by the smiling faces of the locals. Their simplicity and warmth instantly made us feel at home. The farmhouse itself was surrounded by tall coconut trees, swaying gently in the breeze. A small tulsi vrindavan (sacred plant space) in the front yard and a wooden swing in the veranda gave it an authentic rural charm.
Nature All Around Us
What struck us the most was the peaceful silence. There were no horns, no mobile notifications — only the rustling of leaves and the distant moo of cows. We took long walks around the farm, discovering little surprises — a patch of sunflowers, a hidden mango orchard, and even a tiny stream where Sanvi dipped her feet and giggled endlessly.
Karishma collected fresh flowers to decorate the room, while I spent time chatting with the farmhouse caretaker, who told me stories about village life, harvest seasons, and old traditions that are still alive in Raudi.
A Day of Pure Joy
We enjoyed a lunch prepared by local villagers — steaming hot bhakri, pithla, thecha, and freshly plucked cucumber salad. The taste of simplicity, made with love, was unbeatable.
Post lunch, we rested in the shade of a neem tree. Sanvi fell asleep in Karishma’s lap while I lay back, watching clouds form shapes in the sky. That one moment — without phones, without rush — felt like the most peaceful part of the entire year.
Evening Adventures
As evening approached, we explored a nearby hillock. From the top, we could see the entire village bathed in golden sunlight. Birds returned to their nests, and the sky turned into a masterpiece of pinks and purples. We captured several photos, but honestly, no camera could do justice to the view we saw with our eyes and felt in our hearts.
We ended the day sitting by a bonfire, sipping warm tea, and talking about childhood memories. Sanvi, though tired, refused to go to sleep — she didn’t want the day to end!
New Discoveries and Lessons
This trip wasn’t just a break — it was a lesson in mindful living. We realized how little we truly need to be happy. Clean air, honest food, natural surroundings, and time with loved ones — that's all it takes.
Karishma later shared that she felt mentally recharged, free from the constant city stress. I noticed how much more connected I felt to my family — just by being present, fully and truly.
Even Sanvi, in her innocent way, learned new things — how vegetables grow, what cows sound like, how stars look in a night sky free from pollution.
Conclusion: Back with a Full Heart
As we returned home the next day, there was a peaceful silence in the car — the kind that follows after a deeply fulfilling experience. We carried with us not just pictures, but moments that will forever stay etched in our hearts.
Our trip to Raudi farmhouse was a reminder that life’s most beautiful gifts are often the simplest ones — and they’re waiting just a short drive away.
THANKS 🙏
