My family and I usually have bread for breakfast, and for health reasons, we tend to have wheat bread most of the time. However, we also like getting some moringa pandesal from a shop near our house.
However, a couple of weeks ago, that shop closed. They informed my father that they were going to move in the next barangay. The thing is, we don't know the exact location of the new shop, so my father and I decided to take on the quest of finding the shop. The only clue we had was very vague, but we still accepted the challenge.
We headed out at around 6:10 AM. My father had to turn on the water first... can you see him in the photo? haha
We needed to cross this bridge first. It's the same river as in my posts every time we go to the city hall, but this is a different bridge... and we're headed to a different place.
On the other side of the bridge is Crocolandia. It's the crocodile farm, which is 15 minutes away from our place on foot. They have a lot of interesting reptiles, birds and other animals as well.
There are a number of subdivisions in this area. There are also some vacant lots with garbage and greenery. lol And there's this cafe I often see in the Grabfood or Food Panda app. I haven't tried any of their stuff yet, though. XD
Despite seeing a lot of stuff, we couldn't find the shop... so we decided to go straight to the next barangay.
We're now in another barangay... this is one of the places in my city where the rich people live. haha It's called Corona del Mar. There are a lot of big houses in this area. Then, after walking a few blocks more, there'll be some resorts before we reach the coastal area.
We won't go to the coastal area, though, instead, we're heading back to the previous barangay but this time on a different road. As we turned left on the intersection going to the coastal area and the other road heading to the previous barangay, papa commented that he smelled something familiar. LOL -- he's like a dog. XD
YEP! After 40 minutes of walking, we found what we were looking for. haha Mission accomplished!
We bought 3 bags of hot pandesal, which is good for two days for us and the doggies. Max especially loves this pandesal!
Instead of going back to the route we used earlier, we decided to just move forward and explore the rest of the place. lol
The sea is several meters away, and we're guessing that it was high tide at that time. :)
Villa Terisita!
It's one of the famous resorts in our city. It has a long water slide that people enjoy. I used to come here with my family or friends when I was in university. We usually get a discount because my father is friends with the owner. lol Free cottage and entrance fee! I don't know how to swim, though. XD
Here's a baby cow on the side of the road. There were lots of goats, too. I just couldn't take photos of them.. XD
At around 7:30 AM, we were back at Crocolandia... all tired and sweaty, but we felt refreshed! It was getting hotter, though.
Here's the other side of the river. :)
And lastly, this is where my father usually buys fish if he doesn't go to the mini-market. :)

We dropped by the pharmacy to get some drinks before arriving home. It was quite a long walk, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Most importantly, we were able to succeed in our quest. hahaha
Thanks for reading, and see you around! (^^,)/
