Living in the province allows us to purchase fruits at lower prices, especially those harvested locally in our town. We live near a mountain and are surrounded by agricultural lands where fruits and vegetables are planted nearby. That is why we have access to fruits and vegetables at cheaper prices.
One of our friends recently harvested their watermelon, and we took the opportunity to buy some from them. Not just to support our friend’s business, but also to enjoy having freshly harvested fruits. We ordered two pieces of watermelon, and they were delivered to our home right away.
When delivered, we sliced one watermelon into small triangular pieces and let it cool in the freezer. We always wanted our watermelon to be eaten cold. When we prepared our lunch at the table, we also grabbed some watermelon as our dessert. After enjoying the feast on rice and viand, we enjoyed eating our fruit next.
Since the watermelon was already cooled inside the refrigerator, it added more freshness. Every bite feels refreshingly good. It was sweet and juicy – you can see it through its red color. The kids also enjoyed it since it’s their favorite fruit. We just savored every bite. We also informed our friend about how we wanted it, and that we would buy again in the next few days once we had consumed all the watermelon we had purchased from them.
So, that's it for today. Thank you so much for reading. See you on our next blog. Sending good vibes to everyone!
