It's a great experience to enjoy a portion of good foods, for sure. But have you tried partnering it with some drinks to make the moment more enjoyable? For example, an extra-strong beer with a plate of your grilled pork and side dishes. In this new blog, we are going to highlight the experience we had when we decided to get a few beers for ourselves, while enjoying the bites of Korean Samgyeopsal.
We heard about this new Korean-style Restaurant in town, and it's gaining popularity on its first days since it opened. People are talking about their dishes and the budget-friendly price of their unlimited promo. Because of this, we did not think twice to visit the said restaurant and try their popular Korean Samgyeopsal.
We headed to the town proper by motorcycles, and it only took us around 15 minutes of driving time before we finally touched down in the newly-opened restaurant. Honestly speaking, they only have a simple setup but we did not mind it as we came here for the food. The name of the restaurant is McBao: Samgyup Unli Korean BBQ.
When we entered the restaurant, someone welcomed us and led us to the empty tables and made us choose where to eat. After settling down in our table, we headed to the counter to order their Php 199 ($3.63) promo, with unlimited side dishes and Korean BBQ. It's a good deal, right?
Since they already had our orders and head counts, they told us that we can already grab some porks and side dishes. It is a buffet-style, so we had to go there by ourselves. But, we wanted to add more. We asked the person in charge in the counter if they sell alcoholic drinks. And they told us that they only offer a particular beer, the Extra-Strong Red Horse Beer. Then, we gave them a go signal to add serve some beers on our table.
While we are grilling the pork, we cannot waste time and we started the drinking session. Since we have the side dishes, we began to ate them after we take a sip of from our beers. It only took a few minutes before we finally enjoyed the grilled pork. The night was filled with random stories, deep conversations,and shared laughter.
Sometimes, make sure that you let yourself breathe and enjoy a moment. Have some good foods and take a few drinks with some friends or family. We all deserve that kind of moment once in a while.
