My Daily Post: "My First Time as A Parent Volunteer"

I was appointed as a Parent Volunteer for the children here in Pre-School and this is a great challenge for me. It is also lucky so that I can still watched my Daughter here in School. This is my first time to become a Parent volunteer and I will keep my best to do the tasks and obligations. It was slight difficult to me specially some requirements that the teacher asked for me to become a Parent Volunteer. She asked me to get the Following requirements or Papers like My Birth Certificate PSA, Police Clearance, Barangay Clearance and 2x2 Pictures. Gladly my Husband helped me to comply the requirements and after few days I complied it and submitted to my Daughter's teacher.

After submitting, She gave me this tag indicates that I already officially A Parent Volunteer and I was very proud of it. The teacher also do some short orientations about the things I must do just like taking pictures in school activities, feeding, cleaning and many more. Making a short reports about Children's improvement and listing the names of the Children before giving them foods for lunch as a form of Attendance. Aside of that, We must be on time to school so I can help the teacher for assisting here at the classroom. This are only few jobs and obligations for me but looks like very proud, fun and enjoyable.

Before we went at school, I also assisting my Daughter doing here assignment and gladly she also cooperates for her assignment. Assisting and practice of holding crayons is really must so she can used it very well like coloring the images in the paper. Each children have different assignments depends on children's capability and this is a simple assignment given to her.

We decided to went to the school at exactly 9 in the Morning yesterday, it is good to become very punctual always so I can assist other children and as we arrived there, some Parents are also waiting for the Second class. The schedule of the First class started at 7 until 9 in the Morning and the Second class will begin at exactly 10:30 until 1 in the afternoon. As the classes started, the teacher asked the children to stand and dance the nursery rhyme song they sung last day and they stand watching the teacher on what to do.

The next activities they did yesterday was to paste the objects that the teacher gave to them. Everyone was doing the activities very well and cooperates the activities. Other Parents are only waiting outside of the classroom and I am the only one can enter inside of the room for assisting. But after the pasting object activity, the teacher let those Parents to come inside to Prepare the lunch box for their snacks and lunch. There is also a 30 minutes playing time for the children and it will expected and let them playing educational toys like big letters, Slides, Big Crayos made of Cardboard.

After almost an hour inside of the classroom, coloring activities will be next and it is always done outside of the school balcony. There, the children can relax while watching outside doing their activities. I gave the activity sheets for each children while the teacher told them to color it. This is what they always do while waiting for the food to arrived.

After few minutes, the food for lunch has finally arrived and listing the names of the children is the next thing I did before the food distributions. All children have their food and they are having a lot of fun time eating their foods. After eating those foods, they went inside of the classroom to sing and dance some Nursery rhyme song.

Other Parents also do their job and obligations just like washing those lunch box. This is their tasks aside of those Parents who cooked food for the children. The School activities takes a few hours and it was successfully ended and I am proud of myself I can handled my obligations and tasks very well. Until next post, have a nice weekend to everyone.
