Good night everyone. It's already 2:01 AM here, and I still can't sleep — probably because I’ve spent the whole day doing absolutely nothing but sleeping!
I originally planned to do some reading and study a few things, but I guess my body was calling for rest. I gave in and ended up spending almost the entire day in dreamland.
Anyway, how was your weekend? I hope you had a productive day — whether that means being active or just resting and doing the things you love.
STREET PHOTOGRAPHY IN QUIET MOMENTS
As I’ve mentioned before, Bangkok is a city that never sleeps. At any hour, you’ll find someone preparing goods, selling, or moving about. But if you're lucky, you might stumble upon a rare moment when the streets are quiet — especially on weekdays.
That’s exactly what happened to me. I found myself in Chinatown, a place usually packed with people, yet this time it was almost deserted. Maybe it was about to rain (if I remember correctly), or maybe people were just waiting for the right time to start unloading, selling, or buying.
I’m sharing a few photos I captured during that peaceful window. It felt calming — almost surreal — to see such a usually-busy area in a slow, quiet state. I truly enjoy these moments of stillness. Sometimes, I just wish the world would slow down so I could soak it all in.
Even until now, I still wonder how they manage to work with all that messy electrical wiring. Just imagine needing to repair something or adding a new line for a freshly opened shop...
Only a true legend can solve that kind of puzzle. Hats off to the electricians out there — this is next-level problem-solving
The busy day started with a peaceful moment.
This photo was taken in Chinatown, and as you can see, it looked surprisingly calm with only a few people around. I personally enjoy places more when they're quiet — especially without too many tourists around.
At one point, I learned about something called "tourist pollution" — when a place becomes too crowded with visitors, it loses its charm, and it’s hard to enjoy the real atmosphere.
