I once thought I wouldn't buy a large bookshelf because its size would make my house look cramped. Even so, the temptation to buy one persisted. Stupidly, if I added up the price of the mini bookshelf I bought, it would be equivalent to the cost of a large bookshelf in the living room.
Ah… this is indeed a dilemma.
After buying a bookshelf some time ago, I'm now tempted to buy another mini bookshelf for my desk. This is a very unique bookshelf, and the price is affordable, less than 100,000 IDR. So, although I regret buying this mini bookshelf, it still serves its purpose.
Let me show you my new mini bookshelf.

I bought it for its unique and minimalist shape. I also wanted to clear out a small section of my desk wall, so I also arranged it to create a minimalist look.

My mini bookshelf is T-shaped, with two sides that, when stacked, form a unique shelf. Assembling it was very easy. I simply had to form the white boards into a two-sided T and repeat this process twice on the other boards. Then just stack them. My mini bookshelf looks beautiful and elegant.

Here is the look of my bookshelf after I assemble it from two pieces being one piece.
After that, I immediately arranged my selected books there. Previously, this wall had damaged one of my books when it rained and the water seeped through the wall. Now I've covered it with wallpaper that matches the other wallpaper. And these are the books I put on my desk. They are selected books that I haven't read yet. There are also books that I haven't opened because I still need a few more books to unpack together.
I still hope to make this desk even more beautiful and elegant. I've managed to get rid of some things, but some items don't look eye-catching. I need some more time to declutter and make this desk truly look as beautiful as the ones I see on Instagram. Very neat and pretty.
