Welcome back from my new foodie blog. How are you guys? Is everything OK? I hope everything is fine. Yesterday I told you about the first guava I picked from my small garden. Today I will tell you how to make a Burmese dessert. How is the weather in your area? It rains almost every day in our area. So today I didn't go out all day. So today I made a Myanmar traditional pancake for breakfast at home with my family.
Normally we don't eat rice for breakfast, but today we made a change. The name of the cake my mom and I made today is 'fried butter cake' and this cake is a Myanmar traditional pancake. It's easy to make and doesn't require many ingredients. Before I tell you how to make it, I'll tell you the ingredients I used. Let's get started.
🥞Ingredients🥞
- Sticky rice powder
- rice powder
- salt
- oil
- jaggery
Step-1
My sister mixed sticky rice powder with rice powder, salt and water. She also soaked jaggery in water.
Step-2
I have heated the oil first. When the oil is hot, as you can see in the picture, take the dough with a spoon and add a spoonful of oil to the hot oil.
When one side turns from liquid to solid, flip it over and fry the other side in the same manner until both sides are golden brown.
I fried about 10 white pancakes using the same method.
Step-3
Then mix the remaining batter with jaggery juice. Then mix everything together and stir.
Step-4
Step-4 is also fried as I said in step-2.
