Hello my loving Asean Hive community,
Hello Hello. Welcome back from my small garden blog. Today is Tuesday, are you busy with your work? I taught the students today and returned home early. About 5 days ago, I told you about buying 2 small plants from a small roadside plant shop. Today, I'm going to tell you about how I replanted those tiny plants using recycled plastic bottles. Let's get started.
That day, I bought a mesua ferrea tree and a small tree that looked like a pine tree from my father's friend's small plant shop. This evening, I returned home early and my father was busy, so I replanted those two plants with recycled plastic bottles.
Actually, those plastic bottles are the ones that we use when we buy cooking oil. Since the bottles are so big, my father and I came up with the idea of repurposing them as flower pots. I have 4 avocado trees in my yard, so I get dry leaves from those avocado trees every day. My father collects those dry leaves to make compost. Today, my father first put some of those dry leaves at the bottom of the flower pot.
Then my father added more compost to the pot. The compost was also made last year from waste from the garden. My father filled the pot with the compost.
Then my father put the plant in the pot and put it in place. First, my father planted the pine plant first.
Then my father removed the plastic bags from the pine plant. When removing the plastic bags, he was very careful not to break the roots.
Then my father put the pine tree back in its pot.
Then my father covered all the ground parts and roots of the pine tree with the remaining compost. You need to press the soil down a little. This will prevent the roots from appearing when you water them.
In the same way, my father also planted my favorite mesua ferrea tree.
In the final step, I poured a little water over both plants.
As you can see in the picture, my mesua ferrea tree has many buds. I will tell you more about this mesua ferrea tree when those buds bloom into beautiful flowers. That's all for today. Thank you all very much for reading my post to the end. See you in the new post. Bye Bye. 🍇
