@asean.hive's black and white photography challenge.
This is my entry
I chose a portrait I took some time ago from a beautiful girl and decided to edit it on my phone's default editor. I only had my phone camera and I had to use filters for this contest since there are no option to take the photo in b&w.
Here is how I created the photo entry.
From my gallery, I chose the photo and selected "edit". Then I was talen t the default editor of my phone and selected from the pre-given options there. There were lots to choose from, and honestly, I don't use the editor often, I only use them when I need to adjust some of the photo's brightness, contrast and saturation.
Editing is fun thoughit gives the photo a new story, a new perspective and new look.
Here are some of the screenshots that I took while playing with it but what I liked the most is the vintage option. Its gives nostalgia, and made. Me remember those times when I first saw black and white photos in an album.
Black and white photographies indeed bring nostalgia to some who were born before the year 2000. Some parts of the wprmd were behind technology and improvements so they we still witnessed those times when people made a huge effort to preserve memories.
I was born in the early 90's but when I had the chance to visit my grandparent's house with some of my cousins, there I saw the black and white photos of my grannies along with my father and uncle's photo.
Believe me, they put too much effort to preserve the photos on a photo album and mind you, they spend a lot in taking pictures and had it developed to acquire such treasure.
I even stole a photo of my grandpa from it after he died but I lost it somehow since I moved from my parents house to mine.
This will be all for my post, I hope you liked my choice of photo. What about you, what memories surfaces as you see black and white photos around?
Thank you for your time and support. Have a great day!
