Hello, friends! I hope you are well and happy. Today, I and my family had a great stay at the pool to celebrate my father in law's birthday which was on May 29th. I don't know how old he was already but I am happy for him to have lived a long life, long enough to witness his great grandson.
My husband's siblings went home to the parent's house on Friday, we shared dinner on Saturday and today we went to the pool before everyone goes home again. We are supposed to go to just the mangima river, the one we visited last April (not yet posted) but when we passed by on the same river by the bridge, we realized that it would be dangerous for the kids to bathe, and one more things is that the water was dirty.
To the Swimming pool it is!
Good thing there was this swimming pool right before the bridge and we quickly diverted our plans.
Too bad that we had to spend over 30 dollars for the entrance fee and cottage, which we were avoiding because the head count in today's activities were 20 adults and 6 children including the boyfriends and extended family.
The pictures attached includes the ones taken while on the parking space, when the family counted how many were there and collected the money we had to pay.
Anyway, we had no choice but to pay, as for the food, the family brought suman- binggala, pancit bam-i pork humba, chicken halang-halang and chicken adobo, we also bought fish to be grilled on the site to be paired with boiled banana and rice for luch and snacks. Too bad there were no pictures taken, we got too excited of the water.
Everyone had great time enjoying the water including me, back whne my kids were still very young, I only focus on watching them but now that @eylii and palaling knows how the wter works I am getting confident. As per my son, he was too sacred of the water and chooses the shallow pools, and he doesn't even dip his head on the water in the fear of being drowned.
I honestly got happy of his fear of water but I realized that I cannot be always around to keep him safe all the time and learning how to swim is am essential in life that he must have.
I was very happy of palaling and eylii' s guts on trying back flip on the water today and I am proud to say that I had my second jump on the water! Haha! It's very late bit I enjoyed it a lot! I was too scared to it back then. I'd try to find time to compress the videos and share them with you.
Everyone had so much fun that the kids fell asleep as we went on our way home, and my husband grew sleepy as well. We went home at 3 pm, to try to rest before other siblings would go home. It's a very wonderful day today!
