I had one of those days today; You know the type where there's more to do than hours in the day and in which everything that could possibly go wrong in fact does. It felt like my work day hated me and wanted to make things as difficult as possible.
Work day - One
G-dog - Zero
Well played work day, well played.
I arrived home around 6pm and things started picking up quite quickly however; Within 30 minutes I was changed, ate some crackers and cheese, got in trouble from Faith because I ate cheese and crackers before dinner and was at my Lego bench pretending not to hear her rag me out over four crackers and cheeses. As if that could ever ruin burrito bowls, which we were having for dinner! Yum! Thanks wifey! (Please don't tell her I called her wifey if you ever run into her.)
Anyway, tonight was the first night old-mate Grouchy helped me build Lego. He's a little cobber (mate) of mine that hangs out with me, travels and pokes his nose into various adventures when he can. He's a legit dude, even if he likes the booze a little too much. I've posted recently so you can scroll back if you're inclined. It'll explain things more clearly.
You can see him pictured here helping put the rear differential and axle section of my latest build together. Just so you know, he always looks grouchy, which is fortuitous as his name is indeed Grouchy. Kind of makes sense really.
We got set up for stage two of the build then got called for dinner...Legit burrito bowls, but were back at it straight after...After cleaning up in the kitchen of course. OK, that was a lie, Faith did that. Did I say she's a legit wife? She really is!
Stage two is the middle stage of this build. The last one I did had seven stages but this set, with only 950 or so pieces, is a little smaller...Although quite technical.
I've stopped for a break after about 90 minutes of building...Currently writing this and dunking Oreo's in coffee...But hope to finish stage two tonight. I have to say, Grouchy already made one mistake, the dumb-ass, but I saved the day and rectified it.
OK OK, I made the bloody mistake. You happy now that I confessed.
Anyway, time marches on and I'd better get back to it...What was I saying? Oh yeah, I had a shitty day...It kicked my ass to be honest but...
Lego saved the day and turned my frown upside down.
Thanks Lego.
I better get back to it, Grouchy might make more mistakes...And the little bugger is eye-balling my last Oreo!
Have a great day, or night wherever you are y'all!
