I had a fairly intensive day today. I've been pondering weighty matters as Faith and I are considering changing our accountant of seventeen years and selecting a new one is a big decision. Further to that I had some client issues at work to deal with and the most important decision of all...A hamburger or hot dog with the lot for lunch? I went for the hamburger and fries in case you're wondering.
So, what does the G-dog do after a day of adulting and making important decisions? Various things is the answer, however this afternoon I decided to build some Lego...Destroy some Lego and rebuild to be exact. I like to call it Transformorphorising.
Transformorphorising: - The process of turning something made of Lego into something else made of Lego.
Just a note here...If English isn't your primary language I have to say that this word is completely legitimate and can be used when something is being changed into something else, you know, being transformorphorised. Consider this English lesson a gift, there's no charge.
Now, on to my transformorphorising. Today I transformorphorised this...
Into this. Legit huh?
This isn't Lego freestyling although I'd love to lie and say I came up with this out of my own head...I did not though. It's actually Lego set number 31091 which is a 3-in-1 set that can be transformorphorised into a four wheel drive and caravan, helicopter and truck or this space shuttle and transporter.
I like the 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 sets although I also like to keep the Lego I build intact rather than pull them apart normally. Change is good though and so I decided to transformorphorise this set. I think it came out really well and I like it better than the four wheel drive and caravan.
It's not a massive set as you can see below but is kind of cool because the cargo bay doors open on the shuttle and it has a satellite in there plus a robot arm to deploy it. Cool right?
It was a bit of fun getting this one done today, and it allowed my mind to go blank and forget about those things I was contemplating...Whatever they were...Can't remember now. I sometimes need to shout down, to recharge and Lego is one way I do that.
I have a really big Lego Technic set to start but have been putting it off for a while...My little Lego buddy Grouchy wants to build it with me as he's never built Lego Technic before...He'll probably bugger it up, but I'll be there to help him. You can see him pictured above not looking very happy that I transformorphorised without him today. I'll get it started at some stage though, and Grouchy will be there to hinder help me.
Right now I'm off to think about what's for dinner tonight...Another big decision to make...Does it ever stop?
Design and create your ideal life, don't live it by default - Tomorrow isn't promised.
