I submitted these macro photos for the current monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes.
I capture the jolly telamonia jumper spider on a shrub. As always, it was agile and alert. However, I've got a means to prevent it from escaping and disappearing. I keep this guy in its natural habitat; that is, I didn't try to cut the stem of the plant that serves as its "home," as I have in the past. So, even though it was alert, it stayed where it was. This way, I had more flexibility when taking photos, and I enjoyed it.
