Monomad: Veronia's Death

It's been two days of heavy rain after a long drought
The plants can smile again, the flowers will bloom again
But unfortunately for Veronia (Cyanthillium cinereum), it had gone dry
The frills had pulled out of their petals, falling in the wind
The frills that were still stuck, were just waiting their turn
There is no hope for survival

Sudah dua hari hujan lebat turun setelah sekian lama kekeringan
Tumbuh-tumbuhan bisa kembali tersenyum, bunga-bunga kembali bermekaran
Tetapi malang bagi Veronia (Cyanthillium cinereum), dia terlanjur mengering
Rumbai-rumbai telah tercabut dari kelopaknya, berguguran terhempas angin
Rumbai-rumbai yang masih tertahan, hanya tinggal menunggu giliran
Tak ada lagi harapan untuk bisa bertahan hidup
