This is the fifth post I do showing you sunsets I enjoyed during my trips around the world. And the most interesting thing is that they are in Black and White. Not many people edit their sunset pictures without colours, but since I normally like using people or things to eclipse the sun or just as silhouettes, these pictures in Black and White look stunning. I travelled a lot and I love sunsets a lot so expect many more posts sharing with you my best photographs.
As I mentioned before I like using things for silhouettes, but here it wasn't even planned. I was on top of Mt. Eden in Auckland waiting for the sunset. I liked the idea of seeing the sun setting over the city, that's why I decided to go there at that time. Obviously, in order to get the sunset you should be at the place a bit before, but that day I went way to early, so I started to get a bit bored waiting. Lucky me that sitting down on the ground I decided to play with my camera and realise that there were many plants around me perfect to use. In the end I ended up taking more pictures of the plants that the sun going down the horizon. But with the breeze we had these type of plants were moving giving me a different picture each time.
El Nido, such a paradise. One of my favourite sunsets. In this case, more that how it looks in Black and White (in colour it has a very beautiful tone of orange), I like this picture because of how it looks with the silhouette of these two men unloading their boat after a whole day at sea.
Same reason as the previous one. The orange of this picture is incredible! If you go through my posts you will see it in another one with colours. But how good does it look this silhouette of this young man next to the tree in Black and White? Incredible! I was on a tuk tuk on my way back to the hostel and when I saw that I had to ask the driver to stop. A real stroke of luck.
Not many people could take a picture like this one. At that time in Australia I was working as a catering staff for events. This is Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, place I use to go a lot of times. But one day, they had an event in the middle of it and obviously i had to cross the tracks. Unfortunately, since I was working, I wasn't allowed to have my camera on me. But it was so beautiful that with the phone it looks amazing as well.
