Second collection of images in places where I tried to get what I saw in symmetry. Sometimes it is easy to get these type of pictures since the actual place gives you that symmetry, but other times you as a photographer are the one that have to read it between lines. Here I share with you some of the cases I encountered during my trips.
I was driving around the south island of New Zealand, close to Twizel, trying to take pictures of a decent sunset. On my way back, though a bit disappointed because I couldn't get that much desired sunset, I saw that empty dock with those mountains in the background. Amazing! Perfect for trying to get symmetry between handrails!
First with the handrails and the wood of the floor. It has also lines for a better perspective.
Second, without the handrails. I really like this one since it allows you to see the wooden path under water.
And third, a bit of both.
In this case symmetry was given to me. Although I had to look at the ceiling to notice it. As soon as I saw it I thought it was a perfect shot for a symmetric picture. One of the best views I got from Vianden Castle in Luxembourg.
Who doesn't know the Petronas Towers? These two towers in Kuala Lumpur gives you a perfect picture for symmetry with its two buildings. The difficult part comes when you try to get both in frame. Here I think I found a perfect perspective of them.
Next time you go to take pictures have in mind that you don't always need a great location or models to get decent pictures, sometimes, you as a photographer are the one that needs to create it with the things you find around.
