Monomad - Mexican bean beetle

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

Although known as the Mexican bean beetle, but I found this beetle in Southeast Asia, specifically in one of the bushes in the Tanah Luas sub-district of North Aceh, Indonesia. This beetle is a leaf-eating beetle that can be found in bushes or on certain types of plants, such as eggplants or pumpkins. And coincidentally, this afternoon around 16:40 WIB, I was in a bushy area. While searching for insects, I found these beetles mating. This was certainly an interesting and somewhat rare moment, as we might find these beetles in the bushes every day, but not always in the act of mating. And I have uploaded some of their romantic moments below :)
