This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge
Today at around 16.10 WIB I went hunting for some macro objects in the bushes on the edge of the rice fields. There weren't many objects I could photograph, but luckily I found a bush spider guarding its egg nest.
The spider I am referring to is a species of spider in the Oxyopidae family. Or more precisely named Oxyopes salticus. Of the several other spider species, the Oxyopes salticus spider has its own appeal & uniqueness.
As we know, spiders usually produce silk to make webs as traps so that they can more easily prey on insect species, but this does not apply to the Oxyopes salticus spider. Because this spider is able to catch its prey without first getting the prey trapped in the spider's web. And some photos of the Oxyopes salticus spider that I mean I have uploaded below, here are some photos:
