I'm so drawn to colors by nature, and I was born recently enough that colored screens where everywhere already.
But for some reason, and I don't know if it's just me, black and white photos make me focus more on the details, it's like I color it in my mind, it makes me wonder what were the original color of things, but most importantly, I've learned to love such photos as is.
What I noticed is; it's easier for the eyes to digest.
This is Bibliotheca Alexandria, one of the ancient libraries in the world, and one that holds much statues and history. It's a touristic but also a cultural and educational place. A hub for sciences, conferences, workshops, etc.
If you can zoom in enough, you'll be able to see the carving on the building in different languages.
