It had been a long time since I bought any kind of notebook. The last ones where all about the cyber security courses that I'm still taking these days. This has another purpose.
While walking and and seeing some stores, I went into Ilahui with @octocel and found these notebooks. They looked interesting. After talking a bit and deciding to get some markers, I also picked one of these and another for her father who is a writer.
It took me a while to get the wrappers off. By the time I had decided what to do with it, some weeks had elapsed. Now, if is the book for poetry notes. It will be place I keep track of the books I'm writing and to keep something like the endeavor of topics and ideas a little bit more organized.
It has the added benefit that it looks sober and can be closed right. However, I do know that rubber bands like this do not last long if your use them often. It's part of how mechanics and elasticity work.
Nevertheless, it was a fine investment. When I was in high school, I used to keep notebooks to track my poems. They were not good poems, but having the physical object to write on it was a nice way to keep myself busy. Besides, if was a nice way to get a lot of cliches and bad ideas out of my mind. Maybe this notebook will serve a similar purpose. A place to put ideas and let them rest for use on another time or never.
Only time and discipline will tell.
