At 4:30 WIB, one of my friends and I went to play at one of the beach resorts which is not far from where we live, this beach is in North Aceh, ocean sub-district, Blang Mee beach which is not far from the Sultan Malikussaleh Kingdom or exactly 1km from the complex kingdom. This beach is highly recommended for beach lovers and is very suitable for relaxing in the afternoon because this beach is very calm and has lots of good photo spots. Here we sat right at the end of the river mouth where fishing boats passed by. Based on the upstream river, I saw lots of hermit crabs just coming out of their nests to look for food in the afternoon. If you want to see more hermit crabs playing here, I have to come here at night, because all the hermit crabs will come out at night to look for food. . I took several hermit crabs in several shapes and sizes ranging from the size of a marble to the size of a table tennis ball.
Most hermit crabs have an asymmetrical stomach hidden inside the empty sea snail shell. This shell is very useful for hermit crabs to protect themselves from attacks by their natural predators. Morning until evening, hermit crabs spend time in nests or hiding places such as under or on the surface of the roots of pine trees and under Duri pandan trees (Pandanus tectorius). At 5 pm the hermit crabs start to come out to the shoreline.
Here I found 5 forms of hermit crabs with different shells and different sizes, large hermit crabs find it very difficult to get out of their shells when they are aware of our arrival, very different from small hermit crabs, they are very aggressive and brave even when we put them in Their hands remained out of the shell to escape. I used this moment to photograph them when they were out of the shell.
