Hi there,
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
As I made photoshootings with Mélissa Beret two years ago in Britanny and we're still in touch, she gave me contacts of young students she had in class during the past years who could be motivated to do photographic sessions with me.
Emy is one of them : after learning the basics of dance on her own, she decided to attend classes to reach another level.
As she lives near a location I wanted to visit, I suggested her to meet directly at the Viaduc des Vieux Ponts. That bridge is quite spectacular. It's was originally made for rail transport but I was abandonned when automobile spread widely. It is now a cycling path and a fantastic point of view on the valley.
This particular picture is a mistake : as I work with 3 different filters (Hoya 25A, Hoya 85B & Kolari IR Chrome), I have to adjust the White Balance everytime I change it. Otherwise, odd renders come^^. I was working with the 25A filter then I switched to the 85B but I forgot to change the WB. This is the original picture, before I decided to convert it in B&W :
The weather was really hot and shiny, perfect conditions for IR capture. Emy was in great shape and she gave 4 hours of effort before showing signs of tiredness.
Infrared shot created in real time, captured to the camera in one single photographic frame.
No layers /no Photoshop / no editing exept minor adjustments and addition of my logo.
Gear :
Canon EOS 6D Full Spectrum body
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens
Hoya 85B filter
