Roof Portraits.
For years I have been going through stages where I have been feeling lost in the motivational aspect, it is as if nothing excites me in such a strong way as before, I have dealt with this in order not to decay and not to feel defeated by it. These last few months things have changed, I have decided to take up music again and do what I have always wanted to do..... βmusicβ, since I was a teenager. I think it's never too late to take up again the things that make you happy, your passions or just your hobbies, what makes you feel good about yourself.
I've been composing new music and I'm determined to culminate one of my projects that I abandoned years ago, to record an EP, not in the commercial sense, not fame, not recognition, it's something for me completely, a personal goal where I compete with myself.
This is the penultimate set of this outdoor session I did with my friend Lucio Salort shortly after I got back a guitar for this project.
I hate to pose sometimes π especially when I am facing the lens of someone who many knowledge of portrait photography. I like to be more on the other side but sometimes it is necessary and mandatory for certain aspects.
These photos were directed and made by my friend almost entirely, although the idea of uploading there was mine, I wanted to be part of the sky and the sunset at that time.
Besides that I wanted some low angle shots, but not excessively.
Lucio and I had worked as a team a couple of years ago and I know the kind of portraits it makes and its style. He uses the lighting very well and in each session he challenges himself until he gets the results he has in mind.
An Octabox of 90cm and a couple of lenses were only necessary for this experiment that we made even something innovative for both. So I can say that we leave our comfort zone and that is something very positive.
Speaking of music ... I have been thinking of sharing new content here, some covers of the bands that I like the most, perhaps fragments or complete songs, I am still thinking about it.
But what I am sure is that it would be very interesting to innovate.
I hope you like these portraits and I wish you an excellent Saturday and weekend. Greetings from Buenos Aires :)
That's all folks. Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
