Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well, friends! Yesterday I was walking in the streets of Retiro neighborhood in the city of Buenos Aires, a place characterized by impressive buildings with architectural value and with a lot of antiquity.
Here a lover of classical architecture could spend hours admiring every detail of each building because it is simply fascinating.
Hola a todos! Espero que estén muy bien, amigos! El día de ayer estuve caminando en las calles del barrio de Retiro en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, lugar característico de impresionantes edificaciones con valor arquitectónico y con mucha antigüedad.
Acá un amante de la arquitectura clásica podría pasar horas admirando cada detalles de cada edificio porque simplemente es fascinante.
I got off at the San Martin station that belongs to the C line of the subway and first of all I found the majestic Paz Palace that covers an entire block and its design is imposing. This was one of the most luxurious residences in its time that belonged to the politician and journalist José C. Paz.
It was declared a national historical monument and has a Beaux-Arts style built in 1902 and by 1938 it was bought by the national state to be used as a military circle.
Bajé en la estación San Martín que pertenece a la línea C del subterráneo y de primera instancia me encontré con el majestuoso palacio Paz que abarca toda una cuadra y su diseño es imponente. Ésta fué una de las residencias más lujosas en sus tiempos que perteneció al político y periodista José C. Paz.
Declarado monumento histórico nacional y que tiene un estilo Beaux-Arts construido en 1902 y que para el año 1938 fué comprado por el estado nacional para ser usado como circulo militar.
I took some photos of its facade where you can appreciate the reliefs of its exterior, old windows, doors and domes.
Tomé algunas fotos de su fachada donde se puede apreciar los relieves de su exterior, antiguas ventanas, puertas y cupulas.
The details of the upper part are characteristic of this type of architecture, with reliefs that are made for certain types of weather such as winter and snow... Although the latter does not happen here, this is how it was built.
I hope someday to be able to visit the interior of this emblematic palace, where events are held and in the garden at one of its entrances there is a very elegant restaurant also worth visiting.
Los detalles de la parte superior son características de este tipo de arquitectura, con relieves que están hecho para cierto tipo de clima como por ejemplo el invierno y la nieve... Aunque lo último no pasa acá, así fue construido.
Espero algún día poder visitar el interior de éste emblemático palacio, dónde se hacen eventos y en el jardín que está en una de sus entradas hay un restaurant muy elegante también digno de visitar.
I would have to coordinate a guided tour, I think it has a value of 15$ approximately and it is totally worth it. So I will think about dedicating an exclusive post to this 100 years old palace.

Tendría que coordinar una visita guiada, creo que tiene un valor de 15$ aproximadamente y merece la pena totalmente. Así que pensaré en dedicar un post exclusivo a este palacio de más se 100 años de antigüedad.
