Hello everyone. Today we're starting this blog post with another section of photos from my adorable little girl's birthday.
It took me a while to get the photos ready because I was busy with weddings for the past few days, and it was a very busy week. But without further ado, let's get to the photos.
Since my little darling is turning 9, we used a decorative balloon as a symbol for this photoshoot so that anyone viewing these images can fully understand the theme.
For this shoot, we used two beautiful outfits and took photos in front of the windows in my new studio. I placed the light directly behind the window so that it would pass through the studio's clear glass and reach my model.
To further decorate my studio and make it look more like a luxurious home, I used a few vases. We took the photos for the first outfit, a cute romper with a long pleated skirt, with the 9-year-old balloon, and the subsequent photos with the cake were taken in the second outfit, a shorter white dress.
I framed the shot in a way that the reflection of my model was visible on the glass, creating a relatively complete symmetry. This could be considered a very good point and a great experience from this photoshoot, which was not as evident in the other photos.
One interesting feature was that she played with her facial expressions very well and changed them, especially her funny laughs, while her beautiful eyes sparkled.
I used a key light and a fill light to soften the shadows because the photo we were taking was for a birthday. One challenge was that the shadow of the window railing fell on my model's face. To prevent this, I used a white cloth to reduce the harshness of the light, a softbox along with a white cloth, which completely solved the problem.
