City landscapes are usually very striking and personally I really like to admire them, because the contrast between man-made constructions and the magnificence of nature turns out to be something extraordinary. Caracas is a city that has great landscapes and on this occasion I took the west of the capital as the setting, an area where small buildings, hills covered with houses and some large towers dotted throughout the environment generate a unique atmosphere, the which I decided to capture, but using the wonderful tool of black and white, because I believe that in this combination of colors an image whose meaning and magnificence are exalted is achieved. Caracas is a city that gives us incredible images every day and there are areas like this that are very little explored in the world of photography, for this reason I am even more passionate about searching for this type of images, where we can discover new views of a city that is constantly changing and growing.

El Oeste
Los paisajes citadinos suelen ser muy llamativos y en lo personal me gusta mucho admirarlos, pues el contraste entre las construcciones hechas por el hombre y la magnificencia de la naturaleza resulta ser algo extraordinario. Caracas es una ciudad que cuenta con grandes paisajes y en esta ocasión tomé como escenario el oeste de la capital, una zona en donde los pequeños edificios, las colinas recubiertas de casas y algunas grades torres salpicadas por todo el entorno generan un ambiente único, el cual decidí capturar, pero haciendo uso de la maravillosa herramienta del blanco y negro, pues considero que en esta combinación de colores se logra una imagen cuyo significado y magnificencia se ven enaltecidas. Caracas es una ciudad que nos regala cada día imágenes increíbles y existen zonas como esta que son muy poco exploradas en el mundo de la fotografía, por esta razón es que me apasiona aun más buscar este tipo de imágenes, en donde podemos descubrir nuevas vistas de una urbe que se encuentra en constante cambio y crecimiento.
