A Refuge For Serenity
Parks are a breath of tranquility, surrounded by greenery, their paths invite us to enter, the silence is broken by the natural sounds that exist within, some people always go in the mornings to exercise since they are cool and there are few people visiting the park.

Refugio Para La Serenidad Los parques son un respiro de tranquilidad, en medio de su verdor, sus caminos nos invitan a internarnos en él, el silencio se rompe con los sonidos naturales que existen en su interior, algunas personas van siempre en las mañanas a ejercitarse ya que son frescas y con poca gente visitando el parque.

My steps led me to rest on a cement bench along the path while I watched the people coming and going, and I heard the occasional child screaming, chasing a ball. When there's a severe heat wave, the park turns on the fountain, and jets of water shoot out everywhere. Mis pasos me llevaron a descansar a un banco de cemento dispuesto en el camino mientras que observaba, el vaivén de la gente pasar, y oía, alguno que otro niño gritar, correteando detrás de una pelota. Es curiosa la soledad que reinaba en el parque. En un fin de semana sorprende la cantidad de gente que viene, más las familias con sus pequeños, cuando hay mucha ola de calor el parque pone a funcionar la fuente y los chorros de agua salen por todas partes, son una de las atracciones del parque, ya que los niños se meten bajo los chorros a bañarse, y disfrutan toda la tarde, ya sus padres le traen la muda para cambiarse.
Every now and then, a breeze of fresh air would blow through and connect me with nature. I felt like I was freeing myself from the heaviness accumulated by fatigue. Time seemed to stop for a moment, washing away all my worries, and a feeling of peace and tranquility would come over me. As I continued on my way, I felt so good that I realized that the park, besides being a place to exercise, is also a refuge where we can find serenity.
De vez en cuando una brisa de aire fresco llegaba y me conectaba con la naturaleza, sentía que me liberaba de la pesadez acumulada por el cansancio. El tiempo parecía detenerse por un momento para llevarse todas las preocupaciones y venía esa sensación de paz y tranquilidad. Al proseguir mi camino me sentía tan bien, que me di cuenta de que el parque, además de ser un espacio para ejercitarnos, también es un refugio donde encontrar serenidad,
