Today, I'm back with a new studio photoshoot, and I must say these photos are very special to me because, for the first time in a long time, the protagonists are people from my family! My aunt came to visit my city, and as the good photographer I am, I took the opportunity to take some photos of her in my studio!
The plan was to photograph my aunt since her birthday was approaching, and I wanted to give her these photos as a birthday gift. So, I prepared the entire set to take a couple of photos of her. The first and only photo I could take of her alone was this one:
Hoy estoy de vuelta con una nueva sesion de fotos en estudio, y debo decir que estas fotos son muy especiales para mi porque por primera vez en mucho tiempo las protagonistas son personas de mi familia, mi tia vino de visita a mi ciudad y como buen fotografo que soy aproveché la oportunidad para hacerle algunas fotos en mi estudio!
El plan era hacerle fotos a mi tia ya que ella estaba apunto de cumplir años asi que queria hacerle estas fotos como un regalo por su cumpleaños, asi que preparé todo el set para hacerle un par de fotos la primera y unica foto que pude hacerle sola fue esta:
My aunt was with her daughter, and we all know how insistent children can be. The little girl wanted to be in the photos, so we included her, and we did this mother and daughter photoshoot that turned out super adorable and full of love!
Mi tia estaba con su hija y todos sabemos lo insistente que pueden ser los niños, la niña queria salir en las fotos asi que la incluimos y hicimos esta sesion de fotos de madre e hija que quedó super adorable y llena de amor!
The next photo was very spontaneous because they said, "Now a fun photo," and they did this:
La siguiente foto fue muy espontanea porque ellas dijeron, ahora una foto "divertida" y hicieron esto:
For the next photos, I removed the cube from the set and configured the lights to take some photos on the floor:
Para las siguientes fotos quité el cubo del set y configuré las luces para hacer algunas fotos en el suelo:
I helped them with the poses the entire time to make sure they felt comfortable and to have variety in the photos so we could later choose the ones we liked best.
Yo las estuve ayudando todo el tiempo con las poses para asegurarme de que se sintieran comodas y para tener variedad en las fotos y asi despues poder escoger las que mas nos gustaran..
And the last two photos I'll show you are my favorites because of how maternal and intimate they look. In them, you can appreciate the connection they have: they are literally that close!
Y las ultimas dos fotos que les mostraré son mis favoritas por lo maternal e intimas que se ven, en ellas se pueden apreciar la conexion que tienen ellas dos, literalmente asi de unidas son!
I took all the photos with my Canon R8 camera and a 50mm f/2.8 lens.
At the end of the photoshoot, we were all super happy with the results, and I hope you like them as much as we did!
