Have you noticed in some street photographs how people cease to be the focus and become part of a whole? They cease to be a portrait and become a landscape. They merge, and often even though they're there, they're not the essential part. They're not the focus, yet they're a necessary complement that enriches the image, where everything has a place.
Perhaps we think people are dispensable in that landscape, but how often do we stop looking because we already know what's there? And it's then that those people play their role and show us what we were looking at without noticing.
These are the photographs I'm sharing with you today after a while of absence. I hope you enjoy them, I'll read any comments.

¿Han notado en algunas fotografías callejeras cómo las personas dejan de ser el foco para convertirse en parte de un todo? Dejan de ser retrato, para convertirse en paisaje. Se fusionan e incluso muchas veces estando, no son la parte esencial. No son el foco y sin embargo son un complemento necesario que enriquece la imagen, donde cada cosa tiene un lugar.
Quizás pensamos que las personas son prescindibles en ése paisaje, pero ¿cuántas veces no dejamos de mirar porque ya sabemos lo que hay? Y es entonces que ésas personas juegan su papel y nos muestran lo que mirábamos sin observar.
