Hello, Hive friends: how's everything going?
This week has been pretty good. The weather hasn't helped much because the sun is still scorching, but I've taken precautions, which is important because you have to take care of your health. The photos I'm bringing you today are from my last outing. These days, I've become more organized in selecting images: I save them in folders for each day of the week, and these are the ones from Saturday. That way, I avoid getting confused and repeating any. What's the theme of this series? To be honest, I have no idea. That day, I went out without a specific goal; I just wanted to walk, discover new things, and share a little bit of everyday life in Havana.

Lately, I've been looking up more; I tend to focus only on what's in front of me, but there are also very interesting things happening above, like this clothesline on a balcony. I liked the image.
He is a character with incredible charisma; every time I meet him, he wants to have his picture taken. This time it made me laugh because I felt someone calling me and I heard, "Come, boy, so you can take a picture of a duchess."
It makes me very sad to see so many elderly people walking around the city as if they were lost, aimless, without hope. Every day there are more of them, and they are increasingly vulnerable.
Bicycle taxis are an essential means of transportation. It's true that they're not cheap to hire, but I put myself in the driver's shoes: pedaling while carrying the weight of two people, in the terrible heat and traffic, is no easy task.
The more I walk around Havana and think I know it, the more I realize how wrong I am. It's a city with its own fast pace, which makes it more attractive to photograph, as long as we take precautions. It's a paradise for street photographers.

Hola, amigos de Hive: ¿cómo va todo?
Esta semana ha ido bastante bien. El clima no ha ayudado mucho porque el sol sigue siendo abrasador, pero he tomado precauciones, que es importante porque hay que cuidar la salud. Las fotografías que les traigo hoy son de mi última salida. En estos tiempos, me he organizado más en la selección de imágenes: las guardo en carpetas para cada día de la semana, y estas son las del sábado. Así evito confundirme y repetir alguna. ¿De qué va el tema de esta serie? La verdad es que no tengo ni idea, ese día salí sin un objetivo específico, solo quería caminar, descubrir cosas nuevas y compartir un poco de la cotidianidad habanera.
Últimamente he estado observando más hacia arriba; suelo enfocarme solo en lo que tengo delante, pero también suceden cosas muy interesantes encima, como este tendedero en un balcón. Me gustó la imagen.
Él es un personaje con un carisma increíble; cada vez que lo encuentro, quiere hacerse una foto. Esta vez me dio mucha risa porque sentí que me llamaban y oí: «Ven, muchacho, para que le hagas foto a una duquesa».
Me da mucha tristeza ver la cantidad de personas mayores que caminan por la ciudad como si estuvieran perdidas, sin rumbo, sin esperanzas. Cada día hay más y están más desprotegidos.
Los bicitaxis son un medio de transporte esencial. Es verdad que no son baratos de alquilar, pero yo me pongo en el lugar del conductor: dar pedales cargando con el peso de dos personas, con el terrible calor y con el tráfico no es cosa fácil.
Cuanto más camino por La Habana y creo conocerla me doy cuenta que estoy muy equivocado, es una ciudad con un ritmo propio muy acelerado, lo que la hace más atractiva para fotografiar, siempre y cuando tomemos nuestras precauciones, es un paraíso para los fotógrafos callejeros.
