Hello, friends, how are you doing?
Just a few days ago, something very funny happened to me—well, funny in the end, because at first it made me a little uncomfortable. Let me tell you about it... That day I arrived early in Havana, and taking advantage of the good weather, I looked for a street that wasn't too busy. There, a man who happened to be sitting near me thought I was taking a picture of him and made a big fuss. It caught me off guard, to be honest. I was actually taking pictures of a chair with a guitar on the sidewalk. So what happened? The neighborhood madman came to my defense. I say madman, not in a bad way, but because that's how he's known there. He's a guy who's quite shy about socializing, but who needs psychiatric attention every now and then, I said! Oh my goodness, what a scene! That boy made a big fuss to defend me. He's a street photographer. He doesn't hurt anyone. I don't think anyone has ever defended me so much 😅. Anyway, in the end, everything ended peacefully, and the man left upset, and I was happy because I got my photos and a new friend.

A cat with a lot of personality, or a bad temper.
Every day I tell myself: today I won't take any photos of cars, nothing, but I end up taking more than last time 🤦♂️. Sure, it's nice, well maintained, broken in a vintage style, but I make up all kinds of excuses...
Ahhh, this is the photograph I took when the scene I mentioned at the beginning happened. There are always two old men there playing traditional Cuban music. They must have gone to the bathroom for a second and left their instruments behind, I thought...
The backlights are already chasing me. Honestly, I'm not looking for them, I just look and there they are, waiting for me.

Hola, amigos, qué tal, ¿cómo les va?
Hace apenas unos días me sucedió algo muy gracioso, bueno, gracioso al final porque al principio me incomode un poco, les cuento... ese día llegué temprano a La Habana, y aprovechando el buen clima busqué una calle no tan transitada, allí un señor que casualmente estaba sentado cerca de mí pensaba que le fotografiaba a él y me ha armado tremendo lío, aquello me agarró desprevenido sinceramente, en realidad le hacía fotos a una silla con una guitarra que había en la acera, entonces que sucedió? ¡Sale en mi defensa el loco del barrio, digo loco, no por nada malo, sino porque así le conocen allí, es un muchacho bastante cohibido a socializar, pero que a cada rato necesita atención psiquiátrica, yo dije!!! Ayyyy mi madre, lo que se formó!!, aquel muchacho le formó un escándalo al señor para defenderme, él es un fotógrafo callejero, ¡no le hace daño a nadie, creo nunca nadie me había defendido tanto jajajá, pues nada, al final todo terminó en paz, y el señor se fue molesto, ah, y yo feliz, porque hice mis fotos y un nuevo amigo.
Un gato con mucha personalidad, o mal carácter.
Todos los días me digo: hoy no haré fotos de autos, nada, que termino haciendo más que la vez anterior 🤦♂️, que sí está bonito, bien cuidado, roto al estilo vintage, me vuelvo todo pretextos…
Ahhh, esta es la fotografía que hacía cuando se me dio la escena que les comenté al principio. Allí siempre hay dos ancianos que tocan música tradicional cubana. Habrán ido al baño un segundo y dejaron sus instrumentos, eso pensé...
Ya los contraluces me persiguen, sinceramente no los busco, solo miro y allí están, esperando por mí.
