I'm participating in the #monomad challenge with this post.
Title: BW garden
This year, our yard is more colorful because of the larger number of flowers. We experimented with certain flowering plants, and next year we will focus more on them. We have arranged various flowers in certain parts of the yard, which we will supplement with new species.
Sometimes I feel as slow as a snail to keep up with all the changes happening to the plants in the yard. Plants change, grow and mature quickly.
We have a variety of fruits that ripen in the yard in stages. Sour and sweet cherries ripen earliest. Enough sour cherries were collected to make juice and cakes. The rest we left on the tree for birds and insects. We consumed sweet cherries straight from the tree to rehydrate ourselves as we worked in the yard. The raspberries were next, and they had just begun to ripen when we had finished with the cherries.
After them, it's the turn of pears, and then all other fruits.
I am anxiously waiting to see if the watermelons will bear nicely since this is the first time I have them in the garden. So far they are progressing nicely and blooming a lot.
