Hello and greetings everyone. Today is a good day. It is another day for black and white portraiture series.
Last week we had black out in my neighboring area. It was bad since the weather was very hot. If I am not mistaken the temperature was around 39 degree to 41 degree Celsius. I had to drink a lot of water to cool my body and keep me hydrated. The power shortage was during me transferring my files to my external hard drive. I waited about one hour before the electricity came back.
After the electricity came back, as usual I waited for about five minutes to make sure that the electricity was really stable. So after five minutes, I turned on my USB hard drive and boot up my pc. But suddenly during boot the electricity had been cut off again. I have a very bad feeling already.
After few minutes the electricity came back, I turn on my pc and my USB hard drive to check my files on the drive. As I expected, I had lost the access from my USB hard drive.
This was my 4th or 5th time getting this same problem. All because of power shortage or black out. Then I used some of my older tools and tried to recover my files but in my experience a 4 terra byte of storage took me more than 3 weeks to recover. I had to find new solution. I went to chat GPT and do some research about file recovery. I spend about 30 minutes on chat GPT and I finally made a decision to try a new recovery software.
This new software had complex interface and it is not for beginner. I had to back to chat GPT to ask on how to use the recovery software.
Luckily I the instruction from chat GPT was accurate, and I can understand the software and its behaviors. I managed to recover all my photo collections, except one folder, the year 2023 folder. I lost all the record of these folder on the hard drive. Then I went to check for advanced option on the software and enable deep scan. About 7hours and 35 minutes. I managed to track down the missing folder. I quickly select all the necessary folder to recover the files for the 2023 folder. Luckily after nearly two hours, I managed to get all my files.
So the photo below was from one of the 2023 portraiture collection. I hope you guys like it.

Meet Alana. She is a real estate agent and I know her from a beauty pageant. She had a great look and she had an amazing personality. A very happy go lucky person. Had a very good sense of humor, and like making jokes too.

I am saving the best for the last one. I love the expression on her face. The sharp look from her eyes and the pose, it is just perfect for me.
