Hello Hive, i hope y'all are having a nice day. This is my first post in this community, i really hope im welcome and then i figured this might be the only place to share this particular work of photography since we are lovers of black and white.
ive been a fan of black and white since my early teenage hood when i started making hyper realistic portraits all in black and white.
I had an amazing visit to the Lekki Conservation Center and i want to share the experience here on hive!
Its definitely one of the few places you can completely cut off from the lagos' city hustle, hassle and congestion. visiting this beautiful place surrounds you with nature, wildlife and a touch of adrenaline lol.
There are so many interesting sights and activities to engage in, i mean fun activities that all feels natural.
The longest canopy walk in africa is right there suspended high above the ground level which could get very scary, says why i didnt bother to take the walk.
i strolled down the wooden boardwalk surrounded by towering trees, monkeys , turtles and some lazy crocodiles enjoying their habitat. The breeze, sounds and the calmness of the environment was so meditative. There is a very huge treehouse too but i didnt climb it at least it reminded me of how much beauty we still in nigeria.
After my walk i took some time wandering ariund the place, monkeys popped out of nowhere like they were spirits, i saw family of turtles chilling like they own the world and a very stubborn baby crocodile lying beneath the boardwalk.
i didnt go to the Lekki conservation center for instagram photos or contents but to clear my head, and thats what we need sometimes.... a quiet trail, clear skies and a reminder that we are part of something bigger no matter what problems we face!
Thanks for reading my post, i would love to know your thoughts.
