Today, Sunday, I thought it would be a very sunny day, but it was actually very cloudy. I had in mind taking some photos with shadows and silhouettes, but under these weather conditions, those results aren't very good, although in some photos I was able to capture a few of those silhouettes in different subjects. It didn't matter what the day was like, but I wanted to go for a walk and take some photos, so here are the results of that day, where the street scene was calmer but with certain glimpses of what one can appreciate and capture in this frame of the camera.
The reasons vary, from a photo of a beautiful cat that lives in the residence where I live and whom I've always suspected of being the mother of one of my cats. She was adopted over a year ago, very close to that residence. I think so because the cats bear a strong resemblance, and well, at certain times I take advantage of the opportunity to take some photos of her. Other elements have more to do with architectural details, a bit of nature, and even silhouettes of birds.
At the end of the day, or rather, during the afternoon I was photographing, one always looks back on what one was able to capture, and partly analyzes how certain images might have been, or even thinks about what might have been missing. This day, the main focus was the lack of strong light due to the lack of sunlight throughout the day. However, in certain subjects, the lack of cloud cover could be used to counter the subjects I wanted to capture.
All photographs are my own.
