Good morning, #Monomad friends
Here is my entry for the #monomad contest by @brumest and @monochromes.
I didn't used to spend much time sitting in gardens. I notice that, year after year, I'm starting to enjoy it more and more... I like watching people go by. I like seeing children playing and spreading joy around them. The older folks share a moment of rest. Glances cross, and the light summer breeze touches our faces.
If I'm not accompanied, as I was on this day by my mother, I like to take a book with me. To lose myself in the ideas I read. Just to be there. Focused on my breathing, and on the purest and simplest moment of leisure.
Não tinha o hábito ficar muito tempo sentado nos jardins. Reparo que de ano para ano, vou ganhando o gosto de o fazer... Agrada-me olhar para quem passa. Gosto de ver as brincadeiras das crianças que espalham alegria em seu redor. Os mais velhos partilham um momento de descanso. Olhares entrecruzam-se, e a leve brisa de verão toca na nossa cara.
Se não vou acompanhado, como estava neste dia pela minha mãe, gosto de levar um livro. Perder-me nas ideias que leio. Simplesmente estar ali. Centrado na respiração, e no mais puro e simples momento de ócio.
