Through my lens I have had the opportunity to appreciate other artistic expressions that undoubtedly captivate me and catch my attention, and that leads me to look for ways to capture them in different photographs. On this occasion I invite you to know a little of the "living statues" a manifestation of art through body gestures, the artists do not express any kind of word but their representation is carried out completely outdoors in the street and only using the body to say something, of course all this accompanied by a stylism full of color, costumes, fabrics, makeup and accessories.
A través de mi lente he tenido la oportunidad de apreciar otras expresiones artísticas que sin duda me cautivan y atrapan mi atención, y eso me lleva a buscar la manera de dejarlas capturas en diferentes fotografías. En esta ocasión los invito a conocer un poco de las "estatuas vivientes" una manifestación del arte a través de gestos corporales, los artistas no expresan ningún tipo de palabra sino que su representación se lleva a cabo totalmente al aire libre en la calle y solo usando el cuerpo para decir algo, claro todo esto acompañado de un estilismo lleno de color, trajes, telas, maquillaje y accesorios.

I had the opportunity to be on the street, and I was carrying my camera and I ran into these 3 guys, theater actors who were performing these living statues in the heart of the city, and I did not miss the opportunity to photograph them. Really, when I started to edit the pictures I was moved by the hard work that these people do, to make this representation of different characters, and of course their physical preparation to stand for hours without moving or making small movements as part of the dynamics of statism. A work that deserves this tribute through photography.
Tuve la oportunidad de estar en la calle, y llevaba mi cámara y me topé con estos 3 chicos, actores de teatro que estaban realizando estas estatuas vivientes en pleno centro de la ciudad, y no perdí la oportunidad de fotografiarles. De verdad que cuando me puse a editar las fotografías quedé conmovida con el trabajo tan arduo que realizan estas personas, para hacer esta representación de diferentes personajes, y por supuesto su preparación física para lograr estar de pie durante horas sin moverse o realizando pequeños movimientos como parte de la dinámica de estatismo. Un trabajo que merece esta homenaje a través de la fotografía.
