Hola PukuMundo, esta semana quería participar en "La Voz Cantante" pero justo recibimos las noticia de que Andy Fletcher, fundador de la banda Depeche Mode falleció a la edad de 60 años.
Hello PukuMundo, this week I wanted to participate in "The Singing Voice" but we just received the news that Andy Fletcher, founder of the band Depeche Mode passed away at the age of 60.
Depeche Mode es una de mis bandas favoritas, y de que para @orimusic también, por eso quiero hacer un pequeño homenaje a su música. Quizá me quede corto de palabras, pero si quiero compartir algunas covers que he hecho y también la importancia de el en la banda.
Depeche Mode is one of my favorite bands, and that for @orimusic too, that's why I want to pay a little tribute to their music. Maybe I'm short of words, but I do want to share some covers I've done and also the importance of him in the band.
Andrew Fletcher
Nacido el 8 de Julio de 1961 en Nottingham, Inglaterra. Andy fue el miembro fundador junto con Vince Clark, de el grupo de minimal synth llamado "Composition of Sound", al cual estaba también Martín Gore y que mas adelante cambiarían el nombre de la banda a Depeche Mode.
Born on July 8, 1961 in Nottingham, England. Andy was the founding member, along with Vince Clark, of the minimal synth group called "Composition of Sound", which included Martin Gore and who would later change the name of the band to Depeche Mode.
Aunque Andy no fue conocido por sus habilidades musicales, si lo fue para los negocios de la banda. Al principio era el manager de la agrupación, hacia la promoción de la música y sus conciertos. Cuando tocaba en vivo, se le asignaba las partes más básicas de los teclados. Por cierto, es el único miembro que ha participado en todos los álbumes de Depeche Mode.
Although Andy was not known for his musical abilities, he was known for the band's business. At first he was the manager of the group, towards the promotion of music and their concerts. When he played live, he was assigned the most basic parts of the keyboards. By the way, he is the only member who has participated in all Depeche Mode albums.

Es por ello que me atrevería a decir y con tristeza que este podría ser el final de una de las mejores bandas de todos los tiempos. Visitaron mi país varías veces, y estoy tan triste de no haberlos podido ver en en vivo, es una gran deuda que quedará en mi vida.
That is why I would say sadly that this could be the end of one of the best bands of all time. They visited my country several times, and I am so sad that I could not see them live, it is a great debt that will remain in my life.

Just Can’t Get Enough - Cover
Una de las primeras canciones que escuché fue "Just Can’t Get Enough", años después haría mi cover con un teclado Midi. Me gusta esa melodía tan sencilla pero que nos marcó a todos.
One of the first songs I heard was "Just Can't Get Enough", years later I would cover it on a midi keyboard. I like that simple melody but it marked us all.
Enjoy The Silence - Piano Cover
Cuando empecé a tomar en serio un poco más el tema de los covers en piano, había comprado mejores equipos para grabar y un mejor celular con cámara, la primera canción que grabé fue ”Enjoy The Silence". De mis canciones favoritas, y pues tengo anécdotas con esta canción.
When I started to take the subject of piano covers a little more seriously, I had bought better equipment to record and a better cell phone with a camera, the first song I recorded was "Enjoy The Silence". One of my favorite songs, and well, I have anecdotes with this song.
Con banda de covers, esta fue una de las que más nos pedían, de las que más tocábamos y de las que más disfrutábamos. Junto con "A Forest" de The Cure, eran las que no faltaban en nuestros toques.
With a cover band, this was one of the most requested of us, the ones we played the most and the ones we enjoyed the most. Along with "A Forest" by The Cure, they were the ones that were not lacking in our gigs.
Mi otra anécdota es que gracias al cover que estoy compartiendo, entré al mundo de la blockchain. Un suscriptor hizo una colaboración conmigo y la compartió en Hive y Steemit, me dijo que yo podía entrar en esas plataformas y ganar algo de dinero con este tipo de covers.
My other anecdote is that thanks to the cover that I am sharing, I entered the world of blockchain. A subscriber made a collaboration with me and shared it on Hive and Steemit, he told me that I could enter those platforms and earn some money with these types of covers.
Precious - Piano Cover
Una de mis favoritas también es "Precious". Me gusta muchísimo esa letra y a veces cuando estoy bajo de nota, la escucho y pienso en lo que dice la canción. De verdad que es de las mejores que han escrito y decidí hacerle esa versión de piano. De hecho es mi cover favorito de todos los que he tocado.
One of my favorites is also "Precious". I really like those lyrics and sometimes when I'm down, I listen to them and think about what the song says. It really is one of the best they've ever written and I decided to make that piano version of it. In fact it's my favorite cover of all the ones I've done.
Sin duda el legado de Andy seguirá junto a nosotros, su aporte a la banda, su unión, su visión de éxito, es un ejemplo para quienes estamos en este negocio musical, sin olvidar el talento y no venderse, sino más bien seguir la esencia que los caracteriza y por eso están donde están.
Without a doubt Andy's legacy will continue with us, his contribution to the band, his union, his vision of success, is an example for those of us in this music business, without forgetting the talent and not selling out, but rather following the essence that characterizes them and that is why they are where they are.
