PukuConcurso La Voz Cantante Semana #8: Rock 🖤 A Capella Cover "Saturnine"

Welcome rocker community of Hive! Today I'm super excited to share with you my first participation in the PukuMundo community (@hive-142415) with the contest "La Voz Cantante". A very particular contest where rock and a Capella voice are the protagonists.

We are in week 8 and I decided to participate with a song of the Dutch band The Gathering. The Frontwoman of this band for many years was the singer Anneke Van Geiersbergen, who is one of the most beautiful and powerful voices of the rock scene of all times.

The Gathering is framed in the Progressive Rock genre, which is a style of rock that is characterized by virtuosity and great musical execution along with powerful and reflective lyrics.

Although I'm a pretty spiritual girl who enjoys chanting Mantras, I must confess that my musical origins are pure Rock! 🤘

As a child and teenager I began to enjoy irreverent musical tastes such as Gothic and Progressive Rock which I still retain today.

My inspiration to enter the world of music was the Finnish Rock band Apocalyptica that inspired me to learn to play Cello and The Gathering, as I was so in love with the vocal prowess and melody of their singer that I enrolled in a choir and singing lessons.

Bienvenidos comunidad rockera de Hive! Hoy estoy súper entusiasmada compartiendo con ustedes mi primera participación en la comunidad PukuMundo con el concurso "La Voz Cantante". Un concurso muy particular donde el rock y la voz a Capella son los protagonistas.

Estamos en la semana 8 y decidí participar con una canción de la Agrupación Holandesa The Gathering. La Frontwoman de esta banda por muchos años fue la cantante Anneke Van Geiersbergen, que es una de las voces más hermosas y poderosas de la escena del rock de todos los tiempos.

Mi inspiración para ingresar en el mundo de la música fue la agrupación Finlandesa de Rock Apocalyptica que me inspiró a aprender a tocar Violoncello y The Gathering, ya que quedé tan enamorada de la destreza vocal y la melodía de su cantante que me inscribí en una coral y clases de canto.
