BPM is often used to refer to the energy of a Track. The BPM contributes, but does not necessarily determine. It is true that the speed, the rhythm, the pulse and the BPM mark a little bit where the set goes and where the track goes, but haven't you seen songs with a high BPM and they are smooth and others with a low BPM and they are strong? How would we classify the songs then? By energy levels from 1 to 10, with 10 being the most intense and powerful songs.
Muchas veces se hace alusión a los BPM para referirse a la energía de un Track. El BPM contribuye, pero no necesariamente determina. Si es verdad que la velocidad, el ritmo, el pulso y los BPM marcan un poco hacia dónde va el set y hacia dónde va la pista. ¿Pero no has visto canciones con un BPM alto y son suaves y otras un con BPM bajo y son fuertes? ¿Cómo clasificaríamos las canciones entonces? Por niveles de energía del 1 al 10, siendo el 10 las canciones mas intensas y potentes.
Energy represents the intensity and activity in a piece of music and gives us a measure of how intense or active a track feels based on various perceptual characteristics. It could be said to be the spirit and vigor of a song. It is elements such as momentum, tempo, intensity, speed and force that combine to define it. In general it is what incites us to listen or dance to a song.
La energía representa la intensidad y actividad en una pieza musical y nos da una medida qué tan intensa o activa se siente una pista basada en varias características perceptuales. Se podría decir que el espíritu y el vigor de una canción. Son los elementos como el impulso, el tempo, la intensidad, la velocidad y la fuerza los que se combinan para poder definirla. En general es lo que nos incita a escuchar o bailar una canción.
