As the saying goes: Curiosity killed the cat and satisfaction brought it back to life. Has it happened to anyone else? The truth is that I feel super identified, let's say I'm a little curious, but I'm not going to tell you about myself, that's not the subject of this article. I would like to tell you about what happened in my recording studio when some singer friends of mine came and now they want to be...I think you can't even imagine, but here is this little story.
Como dice el dicho: La curiosidad mató al gato y la satisfacción lo resucitó. ¿A alguien más le ha sucedido? Yo la verdad me siento super identificado digamos que soy un poco curioso, pero no voy a hablarles de mí que no es el asunto de este artículo. Me gustaría comentarles de lo que sucedió en mi estudio de grabación cuando vinieron unos cantantes amigos míos y que ahora quieren ser…creo que ni te imaginas, pero ahí te va esta pequeña historia.
It turns out that last afternoon I had the pleasure of having these excellent singers who have a great talent, and the most important thing is that they do what many do not dare: fight for their dreams. Between chats, laughs and a song or two (creating content) my guests saw the dj stuff that I used for the classes and that's when it all started, the questions began to rain...
Resulta ser que la tarde pasada tuve el placer de contar con estos excelentes cantantes que tienen un gran talento, y lo más importante es que ellos hacen lo que muchos no se atreven: luchar por sus sueños. Entre charlas, risas y una que otra canción (creando contenido) mis invitados vieron las cosas de dj que yo utilizaba para las clases y ahí comenzó todo, las preguntas comenzaron a llover…
“I had never seen that thing so close, what are those little buttons for, I always wanted to play one” .... were among the many questions they asked me about the DJ mixer. With a smile I told them: “Come on, I invite you to try the DJ mixer so you can see what a DJ feels like”. Each one of them made their turn a special and unforgettable moment. How do I know? Just looking at their happy faces told me everything.
“-Nunca había visto esa cosa tan cerca, - ¿para qué son esos botoncitos?, - siempre quise tocar una” ... fueron entre muchas las preguntas q me hacían referente al DJ mixer. Yo con una sonrisa les dije: “Vamos les invito a probar el juguetico para que vean lo que siente un DJ.” Cada uno hizo de su turno un momento especial e inolvidable. ¿Como lo sé? Solo con ver sus rostros de felicidad me lo decían todo.
And here's the thing, now they want to be DJs too. As we can see many times that little leap into the unknown propels us into new horizons and teaches us things we never thought we'd learn, so we shouldn't be afraid of it. Satisfaction brings us back.It seems to me that I'm going to have new students. Will it be?
Y ahí está la cosa, ahora quieren ser también DJs. Como podemos ver muchas veces ese pequeño salto hacia lo desconocido nos impulsa hacia nuevos horizontes y nos enseña cosas que nunca habíamos pensado aprender, así que no debemos tenerle miedo. La satisfacción nos trae de vuelta.
Me parece que voy a tener nuevos alumnos. ¿Sera?
