The Axie Buzz team is starting another phase for creative pursuit, and yes, we're bringing another contest where anyone can express their creativity. Users who excelled from meme contests to art contests have dominated and stood up in their ways, taking with them prizes that boost their confidence to continue with their passions.
Today, we decided to do something even bigger and more artistic. This time around, the artists the team would like to support and encourage are the writers!
Behold, the first-ever AXIE BUZZ LORE CONTEST.
WHAT IS A LORE CONTEST?
Lore is the backstory of a video game. It consists of the experiences of the gamer set in a well-written form of narrative. The narrative embodies the elements — strengths and weaknesses of the video game that may draw potential players into the game itself. Moreover, these are records or tales of everything that makes the game itself. Influenced by the upcoming land play feature in Axie Infinity, which will give a virtual world to our beloved Axies — this is the contest all about.
In the making of the lore contest, these are some of the things writers may want to highlight:
- The different types of axies
- The different types of lands, resources, crafting, etc.
- The Lunacian items, creatures
- What the Lunacian Kingdom has the to offer
Remember that this Lore contest encourages you to bring your imaginations out, and the topics are not limited to the issues above. As long as it is Axie Infinity centered, we will truly appreciate all great ideas that came into reality. The flow of the story is up to the preference of the writer. No word count requirement, no limitations. Writers have full creative freedom to express their imagination on this digital storyboard in whatever way they see fit.
In the making of your narratives
There is no perfect sentence structure, no perfect grammar.
Write either using the first person point of view, make yourself someone who is narrating the piece yourself or even include yourself in the story by writing from a perspective of an Axie living in Lunacia.
Just be original and be creative!
Write your stories, experiences, and learnings using the "I." Or utilize the third-person point of view of someone who is describing the events. You don't need to use highfalutin words to connect with your readers, nor a wide array of vocabulary. Express yourself freely — that's the key. Additional is consistency. Write in a way others will not get confused about your subject and in a way that you'll keep reader's attention from beginning to end while peaking their interest so much that they'll be left hungry for a sequel.
A writer is not a pleaser but a creator, a story maker.
Create your own version of Lunacia however you imagine it and don't feel restricted by our suggestions.

For this contest, we will distribute a grand total of 1000$ in $HIVE, and $SLP.
330 $HIVE (250$), 3000 $SLP (250$), and 500$ in upvotes (which payout $HIVE into your wallet after 7 days from posting) for up to 15 submissions.
Additionally, we will reward one contestant with a place in our Scholarship Program!
1st place - 150 $HIVE, 1500 $SLP
2nd place - 110 $HIVE, 1000 $SLP
3rd place - 70 $HIVE, 500 $SLP
Furthermore, every original, well-written submission will receive a 10-50$ upvote, up to a grand total of 500$ or 15 submissions in total.
Last but not least, one contestant will get a place in our scholarship as a reward.
