Hello axie pips!
It's been a while since we have an update in our axie log. We reached 1800 MMR earlier this week but fall back to late 1600's. Currently, we are still struggling somewhere around the late 1500 - 1700. For this week the win rate is around 45-55% which is very normal for us. Still, it's good that we are still earning around 12-15 SLP each win. It's not that great when you compare it to those top tier players but we're still thankful considering that there are some innocent souls out there who are hammered hard by 800 MMR patch.
We also had a good spike for the AXS and SLP values these past few days. I do hope that we enter the upward trend especially for SLP. Last time I checked, we were only $500 from ROI. Technically, if we quit now and sell all our axies we are actually in profit by few tens of dollars. But that would be quite dumb isn't it? Heck! I spent more than 3 hours a day for more than two months. There was some trouble with Ronin Bridge-Binance connection so we missed selling around 5k SLP @ 0.08. There was the old option but the gas fee was quite a sum. I decided to hold it for a while and just set a sell order of 0.10 just in case in pump while I'm asleep. Wkwkwkw. XD
Anyways, enough of the rambles. I had some trouble recording gameplay from mobile because you need to convert it to larger screen. This would take some time so it's a good thing that we can now access the battle log from desktop. We have one pretty interesting match up for today against a super strong team with midline ronin aqua and a backline soothing song bird. Let's check it out!
Backline Chops vs White Glass Canons

In this one we are up against a team consisting of a plant, aqua and bird. The plant is just like ours with skill/card set like Cactus, Pumpkin, Vegetal Bite and Carrot. It has a higher id number which is actually a disadvantage for us. If low id numbers are great for birds it's not the case for plants because some card/skill set are works the slower your plant is. In this case for example if both of us played Cactus at the same round only the opponents plant will get that damage raise because of the effect of the card. The normal Cactus damage against plant is around 127, while an amplified one is around 154(?). Sorry, I'm not really sure exactly but it's very close to these numbers. So, if two plants both played double Cactus then one would deal 30-40 more damage than the other.

Speaking of Double Cactus, we played a Carrot+Double Cactus combo because we need to be aggressive. The Nimo+Ronin+(?) Midline would be very painful and might be able to demolish our tank n round 2 if they had the right cards. It was better if they passed but since they played Carrot our damage from is not amplified. It would only be amplified if their plant would not play a card. This was still a good call though as we manage to chip away almost 60% of their health. it's not a healing plant so we had no problems with the sustain. We just needed to avoid going all out when they play a pumpkin. They went full blown burst with their bird the following round. For none backdoor teams Post Fight is quite an annoying. heck! Birds with Post Fight can deal free 480 damage to our current line up before dying. Well, Egg Bomb is more annoying because of the diversion but well Post Fight follows not far behind. We didn't have any cards with our plant so it took the raw damage. Well, it's either they miscalculated or they were expecting a crit. The good thing our plant is still up for the next round. Sometimes this situations, just staying alive can be the game changer in a match.

It's a waste to use too many cards for the plant. We usually wait for round 5 for the bonus damage from Tiny Dino or at least have 2 Acros because they did well with plants. We can't really afford to waste YSS because they have an aqua and the heal might save us later on. Our midline reptile was almost rekt in round 3 because of that amplified Double Cactus but the good thing is we saw them using 2 Pumpkins. We had lots of energy so we took a gamble in round and played a Catapult+Tiny Dino combo but they did what we expected (and not wanted). The backline bird played Soothing Song+Headshot. It's a good thing we manage to reflect 40 damage. it might not be not big for others but that little damage might have it's usefulness later on. With 2 Acros and an Ill-omened we took down their tank the same round. for a moment, it was like a 1 v3. The real challenge was in round 5 when we were up against the Ronin aqua and a high damage bird.

Remember we play double Acro right? Because of that play we manage to outspeed their Aqua and deprived the Ronin from crits by playing a Jinx. That was incredible I couldn't believe it, I just realize I'd be dead at the following round if I only played one Acro ealier. We didn't manage to take down their aqua. Shell jab has mediocre damage but it's has a decent defense. We were bombarded by high damage aqua cards but stayed alive and manage to get some health with YSS. I told you guys! YSS is a life saver. I think this is also the reason why this chops team has almost 70% win rate against double aquas. Usually, birds with SS tend to save a 4 card negate armor combo in the final showdown but since we were pretty aggressive earlier we manage to trap them in our pace. The only thing they could win was a crit from the first or the second card they would play. Sadly, Lord Jihoz felt that they are not faithful enough. They played Post fight which eventually ended the game with us being in Last Stand. Winning by defending is awesome. One crit form them anytime in the game and things could have been different. So LUCKY!
And that's all for today's log.
It's kinda short compared to our previous ones.
I'll try to be more consistent this week with the logs.
Need to grind to buy another tema! XD
Thank you very much!
See you soon :)
