There have been rumors of a few cheaters on the leaderboard during Axie Infinity season 19. I didn't really know what to make of these rumors. How can you "cheat" in a game like Axie?
Cheaters Identified and BANNED
Well, Sky Mavis has announced that there WERE cheaters. They were exploiting a hack that allowed them to see the opponent's plays before the end of turn. This gave hackers "X-Ray Vision" and allowed them to make perfect counterplays almost every turn.
The hack has been patched and to ensure competitive fairness, season 19 has been extended by two weeks.
On a personal level, this is good news for me -- my s19 team is dialed in, feeling good, and this means more time to me to safely farm SLP at high ranks. What do you think? Are you happy for more season 19 or were you ready for this shit to be over?
